Sebastiaan van Parijs founded Tomo Flight Claim after seeing first-hand how little a traveller can do against a refusal citing “extraordinary circumstances” — a phrase that is often unsubstantiated and rarely tested.

He is responsible for the methodology of the Disruption Index and for the choice to make every figure traceable to the measurement it came from. What we did not measure, we do not publish as zero.
