About us
The team that turns a ruined flight into the compensation you're owed
Tomo Flight Claim is the flight-compensation service of Altitudes Group B.V., a Dutch company. We assess your disrupted flight against EU Regulation 261/2004, take on the airline on your behalf, and only charge when you get paid.
Our mission
Air passenger rights, made effortless
Every year, hundreds of thousands of travellers are entitled to compensation after a delayed, cancelled, or overbooked flight — and most never claim it. The rules are clear on paper, but airlines rarely pay without a fight, and the paperwork, deadlines, and legal jargon are enough to make anyone give up.
We built Tomo Flight Claim to close that gap. You tell us about your flight in two minutes; we do the rest — the eligibility check, the demand letters, the follow-ups, and, where it's warranted, the escalation to regulators or the courts. You keep the larger share of the payout, and you never pay a cent out of pocket.
Tomo Flight Claim is part of the tomo travel suite: the same team that helps you plan the trip stands behind you when it goes wrong.
What we do
One regulation, handled end to end
We specialise in a single thing and do it thoroughly: compensation claims under EU Regulation 261/2004 for flights to, from, or within the EU.
Check eligibility
We match your flight against the regulation — distance, delay length, cause — and tell you honestly whether you have a claim before you commit to anything.
Verify the real cause
Airlines often blame the weather. We cross-check the actual METAR weather data and flight records, so a vague 'extraordinary circumstances' excuse doesn't quietly cost you your claim.
Pursue the airline
We send the formal demand letter, chase every follow-up, and manage each reply — you never have to argue with an airline's customer-relations desk yourself.
Escalate when needed
If the airline stonewalls, we file with the national enforcement body, refer to alternative dispute resolution, or take the claim to court at our own cost and risk.
Our expertise
A data-driven approach, not a lucky guess
Our assessment rests on regulation, case law, and hard flight data — not optimism. Here is how a claim moves through our hands.
Assessment grounded in law
Every claim is weighed against Regulation 261/2004 and the Court of Justice rulings that interpret it — Sturgeon on long delays, Wallentin-Hermann on 'extraordinary circumstances' — so we know where you stand from day one.
Evidence, not assumptions
We pull historical weather archives, flight-status records, and your booking details into one file, leaving the airline far less room to dodge a legitimate claim.
We carry the risk
We handle the airline correspondence, enforcement-body complaints, and any legal proceedings in our own name as assignee. The work, the cost, and the risk are ours — not yours.
No cure, no pay
You pay nothing unless we win. Our fee is then 30% of the compensation, VAT included; only if the claim has to go to court does a 15% legal-costs surcharge apply on top (45% in total), always shown up front. If the claim fails, you owe nothing — we absorb every cost we incurred pursuing it.
Why travellers trust us
Transparent, accountable, and bound by Dutch law
Trust is earned with specifics, not slogans. These are the concrete reasons your claim is safe with us.
One clear price, shown up front
Our fee is 30% of the compensation, VAT included; only if the claim has to go to court does a 15% legal-costs surcharge apply on top (45% in total), always shown up front. No sign-up cost, no per-letter charges — you always see the gross amount, our fee, and your net payout before you commit.
Honest eligibility checks
We tell you when a claim is weak rather than taking on hopeless cases. Our free analysis tool even lets you check a flight without committing to anything.
