What to look for

  • The real, all-in price

Not just the fee, but also the often-hidden surcharge if it goes to court.

  • Payout speed

The sector's biggest complaint. Ask about status updates and the route your money takes.

  • Do you reach a human?

When things get tricky you want a real handler, not a chatbot wall.

  • Odds after a rejection

What does the service do when the airline claims 'weather' or 'force majeure'?

Why the fee isn't the main thing

Fees are close together (25–35%). The real difference is what happens after you sign: how fast you're paid, whether you can reach anyone, and what happens when the airline refuses.

Watch the surcharge for court proceedings in particular — it can push total costs toward 50% and often sits only in the fine print.

The hidden court surcharge

Many services add an extra surcharge if the case goes to court, so you effectively lose close to half your compensation. We show our +15% (45% together) before you sign, so you're never surprised.

What a comparison site often leaves out

Many comparison sites are affiliate-driven: they earn from the service they recommend. So always work out what you keep yourself — with us you see that breakdown straight away.

Frequently asked questions

Which flight claim service is cheapest?

Fees are close together (± 25–35% incl. VAT). Cheap on the fee means little if the court surcharge runs toward 50% or you wait months for your money. Compare the all-in price and the service.

What's the difference between tomoclaim and the rest?

Price visible up front (including the court surcharge), fast in-house payout, a real lawyer when things get tricky, and METAR weather proof to rebut the 'weather' excuse.

Are comparison sites neutral?

Often not — many are affiliate-driven and earn from what they recommend. Work out what you keep yourself; with us you see the full breakdown before you sign.

Can I have a rejected claim redone?

Yes. Airlines reject by default; with weather proof and, if needed, the small-claims court, we take on rejected claims.
