What you need to know now

  • Your right doesn't expire

EUclaim's bankruptcy does not affect your right to compensation. You can simply restart your claim.

  • EU261 still applies in full

€250 to €600 per person for 3+ hours' delay, cancellation or denied boarding — up to 6 years back, depending on the country.

  • No win, no fee

No subscription, no upfront payment. You only pay a fixed percentage if we win.

  • We test the weather excuse

Did the airline reject you citing 'extraordinary circumstances'? We lay it next to the official METAR weather data.

What happened to EUclaim?

EUclaim, for years the best-known Dutch flight-claim organisation, was declared bankrupt in August 2026, together with its sister company Lennoc, which ran the flight database. The Consumentenbond's Flight Claim Service, which EUclaim operated, has stalled as a result.

For travellers with a pending claim, or one still to be filed, that means uncertainty. The good news: your right to compensation is independent of which agency handles your claim. That right comes from European law, not from a contract with EUclaim.

Why tomoclaim is different

We are built on the three things the claim industry gets wrong. First, transparency: before you sign, you see exactly what you keep, including what happens if the case goes to court. No hidden surcharges, no surprises afterwards.

Second, real people and fast payouts, not a chatbot wall. And third, proof: we refute airlines' weather excuse with the official METAR weather data from that day. Did the airline say 'storm' when the sky was clear? Then we push on.

How to continue your claim

Enter your flight number and date. We look up the flight, measure the actual disruption and tell you straight away whether your claim stands a chance and how much it's worth — free, in two minutes.

Then sign digitally. From that moment we take over: we summon the airline, refute excuses with data and, if needed, go to court. If the claim wins, we pay out fast. If we lose, you pay nothing.

Frequently asked questions

I had a claim with EUclaim. Have I lost it?

You haven't lost your right to compensation — that comes from European law, not from your contract with EUclaim. Because of the bankruptcy, EUclaim's handling has stalled; you can restart your claim with tomoclaim and we'll pick it up.

Is EUclaim really bankrupt?

Yes. EUclaim BV and its sister company Lennoc BV were declared bankrupt by the court in August 2026. The Consumentenbond's Flight Claim Service, operated by EUclaim, is therefore no longer accepting new claims.

What does it cost to continue my claim with you?

Nothing upfront. We work no win, no fee: we only charge a fixed percentage of the compensation if the claim succeeds. No subscription, no hidden costs.

How much compensation can I get?

€250 to €600 per person, depending on the flight distance, for 3+ hours' delay, cancellation or denied boarding. Depending on the country you can claim up to 6 years back.

What if the airline blames the weather?

Bad weather is only a valid reason in genuinely extraordinary circumstances. We test every weather excuse against the official METAR weather data for that moment at that airport; if it doesn't hold up, we push the claim on.

How quickly do I get my money?

As soon as the airline pays, we pay out fast via our own payment infrastructure. You don't have to wait months, and you can always reach a real person about the status.
